The proposal at 345 Sandy Bay Road was for a 4-storey residential apartment building. Ireneinc were engaged to assist in preparing the development application, which included ongoing project management.
The key planning considerations for this proposal were residential density, building height and adjacency to adjoining residential dwellings. These considerations required the proposal to maintain and protect the residential amenity (sunlight access and privacy). This required ongoing negotiations with adjoining landowners, which involved a planning appeal process which Ireneinc were also tasked with.
These negotiations were successful, and a permit was granted in 2022.
